October marked the debut of Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) in the international competition “Motostudent”, when participating in the 8th edition of the event with the team “ISEP Brita Racing”.  

In this biennial competition, which brings together students from all over the world and combines engineering, teamwork, innovation, and motorcycle expertise, the ISEP team reached third place in the beginners’ category for ecological fuel, e-fuel. 

In the initiative, participants conceive, design, and produce a prototype of a racing motorcycle, which involves two components: the theoretical one, in the project development process, and the practical one, involving static and dynamic tests, culminating in a race at the final event in Áragon, Spain. 

The “ISEP Brita Racing” team will open recruitment by the end of November for the next edition of “Motostudent”, which will take place in 2026/2027.
