Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) is one of the 28 founding entities of ENNO – Energias do Norte, the new Renewable Energy Community promoted by LIPOR and its associated municipalities. The deed was signed on May 16, at the Municipal Youth Center of Vila do Conde.  

Created under Decree-Law No. 15/2022, ENNO aims at the production, sharing and consumption of renewable energy, based on the energy recovery of waste, assuming itself as the largest energy community in Portugal.  

ISEP, as an ENNO member, will have access to energy produced from the energy recovery of waste, at a competitive price and with less exposure to the volatility of electricity prices in the free market.  

ISEP's participation in this initiative reinforces its commitment to sustainable innovation, energy transition, circular economy and the development of collaborative solutions with a positive impact on society.
