QTDEI: "Critical Computing Systems Engineering"
03-06-2025

The Department of Computer Engineering (DEI) of the Institute of Engineering of Porto (ISEP), in collaboration with the Master's in Critical Computing Systems Engineering (MESCC), invites to participate in the webinar "Critical Computing Systems Engineering”, that will take place on June 5th, at 06:30 p.m.

The online streaming can be accessed here.

Abstract

Critical Computing Systems (CCS) have been gaining increasing importance in the business landscape at national and European levels, due to their relevance and applicability across various domains such as the automotive industry (e.g., autonomous driving), medical devices, banking, online commerce, IoT, smart cities, among others. These systems require a high degree of reliability, availability, maintainability, and elevated levels of security. As such, they demand engineering processes with specific challenges for which there is a shortage of engineers with the necessary technical expertise.

This session will briefly present the challenges of CCS, explaining how the Master’s in Critical Computing Systems Engineering at ISEP provides the skills needed for rapid integration into a technologically advanced and highly competitive job market.
