Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) participated, from 11 to 15 May, in the International Summer School on Current Trends in Engineering Technologies, held at Rzeszów University of Technology, Poland, under the “NAWA PROM” programme.
ISEP was represented by one faculty member and six students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, enrolled in the Master’s programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management. Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to attend lectures and workshops, take part in collaborative activities and technical visits, strengthening academic cooperation between higher education institutions from different countries and promoting the development of international collaboration networks and exposure to industrial and technological environments.
The event brought together faculty members and students from several European institutions, namely Georgian Technical University (Georgia), Rzeszów University of Technology (Poland), Technical University of Crete (Greece) and Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), creating an international environment of high scientific standards, based on knowledge sharing, the exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of academic and cultural cooperation between institutions.
Participation in this Summer School reinforces ISEP’s commitment to internationalisation, academic and scientific excellence, and the promotion of distinctive learning experiences for its students, contributing to the strengthening of cooperation between European universities and fostering closer links between academia and industry.
