Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) is one of the partner institutions of the UNIMUNICÍPIOS project, an initiative of SDSN Portugal (Sustainable Development Solutions Network) that also involves the University of Minho and the municipalities of Matosinhos, Guimarães and Braga. The memorandum was signed on September 1st, at CEiiA – Center for Engineering and Development in Matosinhos. 

UNIMUNICÍPIOS aims to bring higher education institutions closer together through the development of master's dissertations focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), proposed by the partner municipalities of the project. 

The project also has the support of the CCDR-N (Committee for Coordination and Regional Development of the North), which will provide financial support to students involved in dissertations under UNIMUNICÍPIOS. 

The participation of ISEP in this project reinforces its commitment to research, sustainability and connection to local communities.
