Beatriz Azeredo, a Master’s in Bioresource Engineering student at Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), was awarded the Best Poster Communication Award in Chemistry in the 2025 edition of the Youth Research Meeting of the University of Porto (IJUP).
The distinction recognizes the quality and relevance of the work presented, entitled “Innovation in Seafood Authentication: Combining Amino Acids and Artificial Intelligence”, developed within the scope of the research group REQUIMTE/LAQV - GRAQ, under the guidance of the teachers Maria João Ramalhosa and Cristina Soares and the engineer Paula Paíga.
As part of the award, the student was invited to participate in the 6th edition of the EUGLOH Annual Student Research Conference (European University Alliance), which will take place at the University of Porto, bringing together young researchers from European reference institutions.
This recognition highlights not only the quality of the student’s work, currently finishing her master’s degree, but also the excellence of the research developed at ISEP.
